WORLD WAR I

July 4, 1946

The Chimes and Clock in this school tower were donated by the people of this district in acknowledgment of the brave deeds of the boys from Tower Hill who served in World Wars I and II, but particularly in loving memory of these glorious dead inscribed below who made the supreme sacrifice.  May posterity forever hold sacred their devotion to American Ideals.
